Stan And Ellen Munro

Stan and Ellen Munro Hard at work Tom and Klem too!

Stan's hobby is restoring this 1932 Buick. If he isn't working on the farm he's working on this old car!

The car is not just a Buick, it is a 1932 MacLaughlin Buick of which only 59 were made in Canada. Others were made in the US but the Canadian made "MacLaughlin's" were special in the fact that they had extra refinements and accroutaments of which you will have to ask Stan about because the details escape me! The US ones do not carry the name MacLauglin.

Ellen likes to work with wool.
All the kids have warm wool mitts, socks, and sweaters made from scratch. She has a degree from Olds College as a master spinner.

She has made all kinds of different yarns from various different fibers including wool, flax, goat, Musk oxen, silk, and Alpaca.
She can create her dyes out of natural materials or use any kind of commercial dye on the market.
She can take raw wool and transform it into a work of art in the form of socks, sweater, horse blanket, slippers, mittens, felt clothing, or any thing else you can think of.
