Our love for the
breed started in 1989, were we adopted a 4 month old pup named Nanuk and
have been hooked on the breed ever since. After purchasing an acreage
located 40 minutes northwest of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada we went in
search for our foundation female. In 1993 we purchased Ch Maladream Red
Dakota and our start into the world of purebred dogs began. We enjoy
sledding and showing our dogs and in a few short years we have titled
many champions. At Glaciermist our goal is to maintain the standard of
the breed without compromising health and temperament. We hope this web
