First off let me thank Gerry [carve] for letting me join my page with his. Me and him talk lots
about weird subjects. We see eye to eye on a lot of issues and it was his suggestion that I put some of my/our ideas up on this page. He was planning on doing this hiself but I think he prefers to draw pictures of beautiful womyn. I don't mind, I love looking at them. I don't mind posing for some of them either ; ) . So watch for a bunch of nonsense to appear here on a myriad of topics. Carve will provide a response form so as ya can put in your own 2 cents and then maybe we might just start to figure a few things out here. I should also tell you a little about the lens through which I tend to view things. Every system or path seems to have a series of levels or stages that one must go through to reach the ultimate goal, whatever that may be. The numbers 7 and eight appear to be popular in terms of the number of steps that lifes journey is often divided into. The octave, with the eighth step being the first step on the next level. I kinda like the idea that the upper 3 or 4 steps are reflections of the lower 4. The lower being concerned with living in this world and the upper being concerned with working towards transcendance. This would make 4 modes. When one step or mode is achieved or activated the previous one isn't discarded but is integrated into the next. I would summarize these 4 modes like so: 1 passive, open, receptive (physical) So I tend to think of life as a series of stops in each of these modes. None is better than the other. Each has it's positive qualities as well its traps and dangers. The trick is to know where you are and how to get to where you need to be. Each mode can be developed and worked with out of sequence it seems but a balance between them is probably more important than trying to develop one or two to the max. You will visit each of these modes often through out my scribblings I'm sure. And for God's sake don't beleive any of what I have to write. I do it mainly to find out what "I" think about things. Do I have a name for my path? How bout: "The TAO of SEX, DRUGS and ROCK n' ROLL" The fool who persists in her folly shall become wise... The way out is through... |
